Why Feller Closed
FOR THE FUTURE OF FELLER COLLEGE
The Committee, after careful consideration, recommends that it be give the powers to investigate thoroughly, the following possibilities for the future role of Feller College.
1. Feller College should be a totally French Protestant educational unit.
2. The curriculum of the school would be for grades 10 and 11 of High School and the first two years of University. The two year University training could be recognized by Acadia or McMaster Universities as the first two years leading to their B. A. degree. These two years could also serve as a course of studies for a Biblical Institute.
3. That careful and detailed study be given to the possibility of the above programme, being:
a) Continued on the present property
b) relocating in a larger urban setting such as Quebec City, Longueuil, Outremont, Westmount or Montreal, etc.
If the Board of Management approves of the Committee investigating these proposals so it can give a careful analyses of the practicality of them, the committee would hope to be able to report in detail prior to the Annual Meeting of the Mission.
If the Board does not wish to entertain the above suggestions, then the Committee will await the directoion of the Board as to the proposals it feels should be given careful consideration.
