Why Feller Closed

    RECOMMENDATION ON FELLER COLLEGE

We, the Board of Management recommend that Feller College be continued on the assumption that the initial $60,000 working capital for its operation is forthcoming or that the Board of Directors of the Grande Ligne Mission authorize a mortgage on the property and that the school be operated on a paying basis.

Reasons Why Feller Should Continue

(1) Provide an education from a Christian viewpoint.

(2) Meeting the need of Children that require a Boarding school environment.

(3) Continue the bilingual emphasis in education.

Suggestions as to how this is possible

(1) The property be placed in the hands of a Board of Management, incorporated under its own act, to be elected at a founding meeting.

(2) This board of management would have to be assured of an initial operating capital of $60,000 by (a) capital fund appeal or (b) mortgage of present property.

(3) Change the fee structure by raising the present fee per pupil from $1,300 to $1,800 for high school and from $1,150 to $1,600 for elementary school.
